Taking your questions

I'm opening the floor to questions until 11:30-11:45 tonight.

Either leave 'em in a comment or send me an e-mail.

Between Gators and Lightning games, I'll check every 15 minutes or so.

If I get any, I'll answer them here. If not, so be it. It was worth a try.

9:01 p.m.: C'mon now, don't be shy.

9:49 p.m.: Had time for a haircut before halftime. Gators 7, Sooners 7.

9:53 p.m.: Just got an e-mail from the Mikko Koivu puck winner, thanking me for mailing it.

10:01 p.m.: Phoenix 2, Tampa Bay 1. Second load of wash in.

10:16 p.m.: Wow! A comment and an e-mail. Thanks. Kevin in Calgary wants to know two things.

How much was lunch at Lenny's?
Puckhound: The three us of had breakfast, tip included, for less than $25. You're right, the place should be a baseball museum.

What pens do you use for pucks and where do you buy them? I looked at Michael’s last trip and had no luck.
Puckhound: That's not good. That's where I get my DecoColor Liquid Silver fine line paint pens. The display seems to move around at the store I visit, so I always have to ask. I usually buy four or five at a time. Each pen is done, as far as hounding is concerned, in two or three trips.

Then, Moody, Hound Central 4.0's Southeast correspondent, weighs in with a comment about the Gators-Sooners game:

"It is a shame that 30 minutes have gone by of play and it took 2 hours. that is the problem with football and a couple of other sports. Way too commercial."

Why do you think I'm going this?

10:36 p.m.: Second intermission. Lightning 2, Coyotes 2.

10:42 p.m.: Gators 14, Sooners 7, with 4:21 left in third quarter.

10:46 p.m.: Moody's right. Even the play-by-play guy slips in commercials between calls. Gators block a Sooners field goal attempt.

11:01 p.m.: Coyotes 3, Lightning 2, with less than 12 minutes left.

11:09 p.m.: Gators 14, Sooners 14. Florida ball, first and 10, on Oklahoma's 27.

11:18 p.m.: Gators 17, Sooners 14.

11:19 p.m.: Coyotes 3, Lightning 2, 5.6 seconds left. Penalty against Phoenix.

11:20 p.m.: Gators pick off Heisman winner.

11:21 p.m.: Coyotes 3, Lightning 2. Game over. Phoenix rookie Kyle Turris gets the winner.

11:24 p.m.: Timmy Tebow runs for a first down.

11:27 p.m.: First down, Gators, picking up 16 yards on a third-and-12. 7:50 left in game.

11:29 p.m.: First down Gators. 5:30 left.

11:30 p.m.: False start, Florida. No, problem. "Huge first down," the announcer says. It's first and goal.

11:32 p.m.: Tebow jump-pass to David Nelson. Touchdown! Gators 24-14, with 3:14 left.

11:36 p.m.: No visitors in the past 32 minutes. Everyone must be watching the game. I'll remember that next time.

11:37 p.m.: Defensive stop, Gators. 2:26 left.

11:40 p.m.: Unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against Tebow. Yes, Tebow. 2:09 left.

11:43 p.m.: Urban Meyer just got a Gatorade bath.

11:46 p.m.: Tebow takes a knee. Game over. The University of Florida Gators are the national college football champions.

11:47 p.m.: Hey, another comment and a couple questions from longtime Hound Central 4.0 reader Brett:

What is the one autograph you wish you had in your collection?
Puckhound: Either Mario Lemieux or Mark Messier. I've asked both, but like most every other hound, I got shot down.

Who has the best autograph in your collection?
Puckhound: Hands down, it's Bruins legends Milt Schmidt or John Bucyk. Letter-perfect. Chicago's Nikolai Khabibulin has a real sweet auto, too.

11:57 p.m.: Hey, that wasn't too bad. Four questions from two readers. Moody, our roving correspondent, offering up commentary. Not bad, I'd say, seeing that it was an impromptu session. We'll have to try this again some time.

As always, thanks for stopping by. Good night.

12:00 a.m.: God bless you, too, Timmy Tebow. Go Gators!

Hey there,

I tried submitting a couple questions about an hour ago...but I'm sure that they didn't make it through. I didn't type in the word verification.

DOH!

Anyways, my questions are...

What is the one autograph you wish you had in your collection?

Who has the best autograph in your collection?

Have a good one.
