Long before autographed triple-memorabilia cards became the norm, it used to be that pulling an insert out of a pack of cards was a premium. These days, though, they're simply just another card.
That doesn't mean they don't serve an useful purpose. Why not use them as autograph stock for some of the NHL's bigger-name players? They worked well enough last Saturday for Carolina's Eric Staal.
