Please don't think that Boston's Milan Lucic is highly popular only in Beantown. No, his hard-nosed persona is appreciated by blue-collar fans thoughout the league. Just ask the 20-plus people -- collectors, dealers and hounds -- who lined up for his autograph this morning before the Bruins morning skate.Thankfully, Lucic signed these two pucks, as well as four cards, for us last night outside the team's hotel.
I got a big kick, too, at the various phonetic pronunciations I heard this morning. Ignorance, I hate to say, can be funny. Next time, folks, it's pronounced Loo-cheech.
