Say kids, what time is it?

Doesn't Hall of Famer Larry Murphy, above, an occasional, and somewhat annoying, analyst on the NHL Network's On the Fly highlights show, remind you a little bit of a grown-up and real-life version of television puppet Howdy Doody, shown at left?

To me, the resemblance, from the red hair to the pudgy dimples, is uncanny. I'm certain, too, I'm not alone in my visual assessment.

I must point out, though, that Mr. Doody never wore reading glasses.
