Did you see this?

Anyone else stumble upon this on Upper Deck's Web site? UD is offering, just in time for the holidays, NHL Power Play, a 300-card box set. Lots of familiar names, but each set, selling for about $30, contains a jersey card. The release date looks like mid-November.

    no rookies? I looked at the checklist and it doesn't include this years rookies. Even the Victory set which is a cheap set has rookies in it

    These players -- Derek Brassard, Steve Mason, Shawn Matthias, Kyle Okposo, Lauri Korpikoski, Claude Giroux, Kyle Turris and Robbie Earl -- might beg to differ. By NHL standards, all are rookies.

    Now, if you're talking about Steven Stamkos, Fabian Brunnstrom, Drew Doughty and Zach Bogosian, then you're absolutely correct.

    But, for $30, what do you expect? Realistic assumptions are needed here.
